When innovation meets engineering precision, it redefines possibilities. Miraishield Private Limited, India’s largest manufacturer of PVC Geomembranes for tunnelling and underground structures, made a landmark impression at the World Tunnel Congress 2025 in Stockholm, Sweden — the most prestigious global forum for tunnelling and underground engineering.

As the only Southeast Asian manufacturer to exhibit at the event, Miraishield represented India on an elite international stage — highlighting its capability to deliver European-standard PVC geomembranes and tunnel waterproofing systems for NATM (New Austrian Tunnelling Method) and other critical infrastructure applications.

Miraishield’s state-of-the-art geomembrane technology, designed to meet stringent EN and CE quality benchmarks, drew the attention of global EPC leaders and consultants such as Marti, Lombardi, AFRY, Tractebel, and Pini, as well as international government and metro authorities.

With over 3,000 delegates and 300 exhibitors, WTC 2025 became a showcase of global innovation — and Miraishield stood out as a trailblazing Indian brand capable of competing head-to-head with European leaders in tunnel lining and waterproofing systems.

Its pavilion became a hub of collaboration and recognition, engaging senior representatives from Delhi Metro, NCRTC, ITD Cementation, Tata Projects, and the Tunnel Association of India. The International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (ITA-AITES), in its NBM&CW Report, highlighted insights from Vikas Rastogi, Director & CEO, whose vision is redefining tunnelling solutions through material innovation, durability, and design precision.

For Miraishield, WTC Stockholm was not just an exhibition — it was a statement:
India’s geomembrane technology now meets and exceeds European NATM standards, setting new benchmarks in global tunnel waterproofing and sustainable infrastructure.
