In January 2025, Miraishield earned formal recognition from the Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP) and the Indian National Hydropower Association (INHA) for its role in elevating the technical depth of the national conference on “Pumped Storage for Sustainable Power System – Implementation, Challenges and Way Forward,” held at the NHPC Hall in Chanakyapuri.

Miraishield’s session, titled “Contemporary Geomembranes for Lining of Embankments and Reservoirs for Pumped Storage Projects,” presented by Vikas Rastogi, stood out for its analytical clarity and comprehensive treatment of the subject.

The narrative resonated strongly with India’s evolving clean-energy roadmap—particularly the commitment to United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 7 and the national target of achieving 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030. By connecting material science with project-execution challenges and shifting policy expectations, Miraishield highlighted how modern PVC Geocomposite lining technologies can enhance the feasibility and resilience of pumped hydro storage systems.

CBIP and INHA acknowledged Vikas Rastogi from Miraishield for contributing meaningfully to technical understanding within the sector—strengthening decision-making frameworks and supporting a more informed approach to developing storage-based renewable assets.

This recognition reinforces Miraishield’s position as a credible voice in India’s infrastructure and clean-energy landscape, actively shaping conversations around resilience, sustainability, and future-ready engineering practices.
