During the "DRDO National Symposium & Exhibition on Emerging Technologies for Infrastructure Development," held on 9–10 May 2024 at DRDO Bhavan, Rajaji Marg, Miraishield Private Limited (part of Marvel Vinyls Limited) was invited as one of the only 20 companies chosen to showcase contemporary technologies including waterproofing.

The symposium was inaugurated by Defence Secretary Giridhar Aramane, IAS, and DRDO Chairman Dr. Sudhir Kamat. While, Lt. General Arvind Walia, Engineer-in-Chief (Army) was the Chief Guest for the exhibition opening.

The technologies presented by Miraishield over the two days were reviewed by senior leadership from Defence and industry, including Dr. Kamat; Dr. Korulla, Director, DCW; Vice Admiral Suraj Berry, Commander-in-Chief, Strategic Forces Command; senior representatives from MES; and leadership from organizations such as Navayuga, L&T’s Strategic Projects division, and others. Over 300 officials from DRDO and associated departments visited Miraishield stall.

The relevance of the platform was further reinforced when Miraishield found its place in the official DRDO e-book circulated amongst technical officers, where the capabilities of the organisation featured on pages 49–50.

The seamless execution of this showcase also reflected coordinated contributions across teams: from relationship-building, product preparation, technical literature development, and sample organisation to design, on-ground setup, and the fast production of exhibition materials. Each unit ensured that the presentation conformed to the expectations of a defence-focused technical audience.
